She also asked me to excuse her artistic skill and i can't help, but wondering what i should excuse here.

Sue took the time to make a real "Project Spectrum"-Postcard for me! It is fabulous and I was so surprised to find it in my mailbox. Look what is floating out of the vase.....can you see it? Yes, the colours yellow and orange (and the word for yellow in German: gelb)

socks are finished!
I have had so much fun knitting them, although I had to follow my own way again on the heel.
I only cast on 60 stitches, 72 would have been far too much for my daughter Donna's skinny legs...lol

Ich habe nur 60 Maschen angeschlagen, da 72 viel zu viele gewesen wären für die "schlanken" Beine meiner Tochter Donna....*gg*

Frühlings-Gruß-Überraschungs-Socken

für meine Ma sind schon seit letztem Donnerstag (6.4.) fertig und wärmen die Füße meiner Ma seit Mittwoch (12.4.). Hab sie mit der Post geschickt (ICH DEPP!) und die haben ewig gedauert, trotz Überfrankierung und der Tatsache, daß wir ja in derselben Stadt wohnen!
Hätt ich das gewußt, hätt ich eine meiner Töchter als Boten geschickt! DOOF!

Spring-Greets-Surprise-Socks for my Mum have been finished since last Thursday (April 6) and are warming my Mum's feet since Wednesday (April 12).
I have posted them (FOOL->ME!) and they took for ages to get to her, although I put more stamps on then needed. We live in the same town, so they should have arrived much earlier!
If I would have known this, I would have sent one of my daughters to deliver them! STUPID!

While it is snowing again, I got the stupid winter-blues.

Hi there,
I need some advice and someone to fill me in.
Is this true?
Opal-sockyarn is very expensive in the U.S. of Amerika?

And if I decide to send some of it to someone really nice and lovable, how would I declare it?
Is it sufficient to write "As gift" on it?
And does it help to put a "Air mail"-Sticker on the parcel?

OOOOOOH, this is really bugging me.....would someone please help me out?

Meine liebe Wollprinzessin...

....Svenja hat heute endlich ihr Abschlussgeschenk erhalten.
Sie hat sich auch schon im blog gemeldet und sich sehr gefreut.
Menschenskinder, wat hab ich gelitten. Den ganzen Tag kreisten die Gedanken nur darum, ob er/sie/es ihr gefällt und wie sie reagiert. Meine kids habe ich wohl halb in den Wahnsinn getrieben, weil ich alle 5 (!) Minuten vor mich hingemurmelt habe und wohl mindestens 100 Mal (!) die GLS-Sendeverfolgung aufgerufen habe.
Aber nun geht es mir absolut gut! Absolut wunderbar!
Aber lest doch selbst bei ihr nach, wie das Geschenk angekommen ist:

Ich hab mir bei ihr ein Foto geliehen, sie hat das Geschenk so hübsch arrangiert (ich hoffe das ist okay, liebste Prinzessin?), schaut mal ->

My Woolprincess Svenja has received her last present today and seemed very happy about it. I am happy too now and just wanted to share the photos and the joy with you.

und so sah es bei mir (mit Wollfee-helferlein) beim Spannen aus:

der Schal hat 20 Mustersatz-wiederholungen und mißt im "Spannungszustand" 190 cm.

Gestrickt habe ich ihn aus einem Merino-Poly-Gemisch (60 zu 40), das beim Waschen aber sehr sehr schafig gerochen hat, also vermute ich, daß die Angabe der Mischverhältnisse nicht sehr genau ist.

Jetzt bin ich sehr sehr froh und kann in Ruhe und Zufriedenheit schlafen gehen.

Ich werde auf jeden Fall mit Wollprinzessin und Wollfee in Kontakt bleiben, die beiden haben mein Leben um einiges reicher gemacht und ein großes Stück von meinem Herzen eingenommen.

Ich danke hiermit den Organisatorinnen Luna und Cleo für diese wunderschöne Aktion und hoffe, es wird bald eine Fortsetzung geben! Da bin ich dann auch wieder dabei!

In der Zwischenzeit habe ich mich beim SecretPal 8 angemeldet.....hihihi....und beim Pomatomus-Challenge bin ich nun auch dabei!
