... to the summer-camp.
Donna left this afternoon with lots of other boys and girls, all were very excited and chattery.
This is her second summer-camp with the youth of our church (Elena will join her next year after receiving the "first holy communion"). This time she has her own tent and a new backpack and a new sleeping-bag. She had some sort of mixed emotions about leaving, as last years camp wasn't such a nice experience at times(she had to share a tent with a bully girl)....but we all hope, she will be having fun!

Donna ist heute Nachmittag mit vielen anderen Mädchen und Jungs abgereist, alle waren sehr aufgeregt und haben viel geredet.
Dies ist jetzt ihr zweites Zeltlager mit der Jugend unserer Kirche (Elena darf erst nächstes Jahr mit, nachdem sie "Kommunion" gefeiert hat). Dieses Jahr hat sie ihr eigenes Zelt und einen nagelneuen Rucksack und einen neuen Schlafsack. Sie hatte ziemlich gemischte Gefühle, da letztes Jahr das Ganze nicht nur eine schöne Erfahrung war (sie musste das Zelt mit einem schrecklichen Mädchen teilen)
...aber wir alle hoffen, daß sie jetzt Spaß haben wird!
Wir sehen dich dann nächste Woche, Süße, ich vermisse dich jetzt schon ganz arg!
